My experience with Gail Simmons has been a blessing for many years. She has blessed me with healing Distant Reiki and Biofeedback throughout the years when I have needed physical, emotional and spiritual healing.

Meeting Gail meant discovering a space within myself I hadn't known before, while also allowing a side of me to emerge that is as personal as it is universal. It was an encounter with the energy of Reiki, an encounter with levels of my consciousness fundamental to my evolution. I was moved by the fresh, natural, playful, and loving way in which Gail embraced being my teacher on this path.

Gail taught me Reiki I and Reiki II during her first visit to Peru and encouraged me to practice it with confidence, always having her as a support along my path.

I visited her at her ranch in Pincher Creek a few years later and received Reiki III Masters in a ceremony as simple and loving as it was powerful, transcendent in my personal development. During that stay in her home, I confirmed Gail's great coherence in her being, her actions, her presence. Guardian of the vital heartbeat of life, always ready to lovingly confront whatever arises on her journey, and consistent in her selfless support for the evolution of all. Generosity, kindness, simplicity, honest, as well as rigor and perseverance: Gail.

Gail gradually discovered her ancient connection to Peru, and in 2010, she embarked on a journey that I had the great joy of joining. Gail brought "Radical Forgiveness," something that hadn't yet been practiced in Peru, and of course, the quantum medicine biofeedback she practices.

We conducted Free Reiki 1 Training, Radical Forgiveness & Energy sharing workshops in Cusco, Trujillo, and Huaraz (South, North and central part of Peru). I supported her in each one through my contacts, translations, logistics and love. Each workshop was a new gift for me and a new insight into the depth of Gail's work. We both loved the special day Children and Teachers came down from the (Mountains) to receive Reiki 1 … their little hot healing hands.

It was a beautiful, instructive, and intense journey, with private consultations between workshops, working together in love, peace and harmony to provide Reiki, moments of offering at ancient sites in Peru, and Gail encountering her own history and memories. 

Another learning experience with Gail was the sessions we did together over the phone. She doesn't turn down a request for support, and whenever the "higher self" of each one allows it, Gail offers her service to whomever requests it. Thus, we did telephone sessions that she led from a quantum medicine perspective, with my contribution being the connection, translation and sending gifts of Reiki.

I learned from Gail that sharing energy flow techniques, as well as providing services in this field, doesn't have to be surrounded by codes or artifices that "give the image of a higher or special being." Energy healing services are a work from heart and deep conviction, that can be done anytime, anywhere, without the need to create a special environment or anything that impresses or defends. I also learned that the healer is a servant who is also on a path of evolution. She/He is neither perfect nor totally liberated, nor does she/he have all the answers. The ‘healer’ is a ‘Light instrument’ that Life Force Energy can flow through to whom is willing to receive it at that time, in harmony with their Higher Self.

After my encounter with the Reiki energy, I have learned different healing energetic techniques to use and share - and became a therapist. Gail arriving into my little town at the Peruvian highlands was one of these wonderful gifts from heaven called “coincidence”.

I had the privilege of meeting Gail Simmons in 2007 when she graciously opened her home to host our staff wellness retreat. From that moment, a meaningful connection was formed—one that has continued to enrich my life personally and professionally ever since.

Gail has been a constant source of inspiration and support throughout the years, sharing her gifts and wisdom across many of the programs I’ve been involved with, including the UNITED (Understanding Natural Integrity Through Experiential Development) Youth Life Skills Program, Piikani Child and Family Services, Nohkohwaa Family and Youth Centre and various women’s wellness groups.

Through her remarkable teachings in Reiki, Bio-feedback, and spiritual guidance, Gail has helped me discover deeper layers of healing, balance, and self-awareness. Her patience, compassion, and intuitive insight have made her one of the most inspirational spiritual teachers I’ve ever known.

Because of Gail’s guidance, I continue to grow into the best version of myself and to view the world with greater love, hope, and purpose. Her presence is truly a blessing, and her light continues to uplift all who have the honor of learning from her.
